MUNICIPAL PRIMARY SCHOOL PETAR POP ARSOV

Located in Karposh Municipality in Skopje, Primary School “Petar Pop Arsov” was built in 1970, there are 750 students in grades one through nine. In an effort to encourage improvement in technology, interactive learning and communication, the classrooms are equipped with wireless internet, laptops for teachers and LCD Projectors, which makes the school one of the most modern public schools in the area. A new modern, well equipped media center is also available for teachers and students which includes a smart board. A computer lab is available for teachers and students to promote the skills in the use of computer technology. The usage of ICT in the learning process not only helps students to be more creative but also helps teachers using new methods in the process of
teaching. Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of educational activities offered such as sport, drama, music, art, languages etc and also in different competitions. The school staff which includes about 60 teachers and administration provides a wide range of programmes according the State educational programme. The teachers and administration are committed to helping each individual student as well as the students with disabilities. The desire to learn new skills, communicative competences, the study of new cultural treasures and heritage,sharing experiences with web tools are the main reason for the given opportunity for inclusion in this project.
